As a part of its many health orientation programs for the upliftment
of dental fraternity, IDA has come up with a unique health insurance plan for its
members.
A DEEP CUT INTO THE POLICY
IDA in association with Oriental Insurance company and
Edelweiss Insurance Brokers Limited & Ericsson TPA is offering unique group
medical insurance for dentists and their family members.
The group Mediclaim policy comes with an insured amount from
3, 5, 7 and ten lakhs.
The policy can include members up to 6 including parents
[myself, spouse, two children & parents].
One set of parents can be covered under the policy, Cross- a
selection of parent/in-law, is not allowed.
Pre-existing disease (PED) is covered for parents’ subject to a
co-payment 40% applicable on each and every PED claim.
WHY IS THIS POLICY SO SPECIAL?
Pre-existing Diseases are Covered from Day one
No age limit applicable at the time of enrolment for the proposer
No age limit applicable at the time of enrolment for the proposer
1,2,3 & 4-year exclusion for Special Diseases as per standard policy is waived off.
30-day Waiting Period for selected diseases as per standard the policy is waived off.
Maternity Covered up to INR 50,000 for Normal and caesarean
Newborn baby covered from Day 1 within the family sum insured
Congenital internal diseases covered from day 1
No Health check-up required to enrol for the policy. Dependent
children covered up to 25 yrs. of age.
Parents covered up to 90 Yrs. of age. The policy is the best preferential family floater policy where even the parents of the insured can be included.

Pre-existing Diseases Covered from Day one subject to
co-payment applicable for parental claims.

CLAIM PROCESS
The policy offers a hassle-free claim process in 2 methods.
The cashless facility can be availed or granted when the hospital is registered as Network hospital of TPA
Reimbursement facility is generally availed if the hospital
is not an in-network list of TPA or due to unclear requests, cashless is not
granted by TPA or if the insured voluntarily does not opt for Cashless
facility.
ELIGIBILITY FOR POLICY
The dentist should be a registered person in INDIAN DENTAL
ASSOCIATION.
The present offer runs only up to AUGUST 15, 2019.

with a high premium. Hence the present policy stands suitable for all dental

After logging in, the proposer can choose between various insured amounts and has to enter the details of his family members.
The next step includes the payment of the proposed premium. After payment, you will get a confirmation mail and receipt of payment.
