MAULANA AZAD INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES

Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma to fill up the following posts of Assistant Professors on contract basis initially for a period of one year on the fixed remuneration.

Assistant Professor (Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics) : 02 Post
Assistant Professor (Dental Anatomy): 1post
Assistant Professor (Forensic Odontology) : 01 Post
Assistant Professor  (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) : 02 Post
Assistant Professor  (Oral Medicine and Radiology): 2 posts

Assistant Professor (Oral Pathology and Microbiology): 1 post
Assistant Professor (Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics): 1post
Assistant Professor (Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry ): 2 post
Assistant Professor (Periodontics): 2 post
Assistant Professor (Prosthodontics Crown and Bridge): 3 post
Assistant Professor (Public Health Dentistry): 2 post

REMUNERATION

Minimum of the Basic Pay + 20% NPA + DA applicable as on date.

AGE LIMIT

45 years as on last date of submission of application. Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC will be allowed as per rules.

FEE

Rs.1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH candidates. The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft issued in favour of Director-Principal, MAIDS, payable at New Delhi.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

The selection will be made through written screening test which would be qualifying only, followed by interview (Only those candidates who qualify the written screening test, will be called for interview) (QUALIFYING MARKS FOR WRITTEN TEST FOR GENERAL CANDIATES – 50% AND OBC CANDIATES – 45%). However, the maximum number of qualified candidates in the written screening test which shall be called for interview shall not be more than 3 times the number of vacancies.

The decision of the selection committee would be final in this regard.
