Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidate to fill up the vacant
posts of Junior Resident Doctor (Dental) on regular basis.
Qualification:- Degree from a recognized university having completed internship enrolled with
Delhi Dental Council. The candidate must not have completed six months of Jr. Residency in
any hospital under State Govt./Govt of India. However, this is subject to condition that only
those candidates shall be considered for residency who have completed their internship within
2 years from the date of filling up the post i.e 13/04/2016.
Pay Scale:- As per pay matrix of level 10 (Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/-) plus allowances as
admissible under the rules.
Age:- 30 yrs for General (5 yrs relaxable for SC/ST,3 yrs relaxable for OBC and 5 yrs extra
relaxable for physically handicapped candidate).
Tenure:- The tenure of JR (Dental) will be only for a maximum period of six months.

Further in case of non availability of fresh candidates, as per the relevant scheme,
candidates may be considered in terms of relaxation of provision as per circular no.
F121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10.6.2011 of Deptt of H&FW, GNCT of Delhi with the
following relaxation:-
1. Upper age limit for eligibility for JR will be 40 years.
2. In case of non availability of fresh candidates, the candidates who have completed 06
months of junior residency may also be allowed to appear in the interview as fresh
candidates.
3. Separate merit list would be prepared for the candidates who have completed their
residency of Six months as JR.
4. Firstly the list containing the names of the fresh candidates would be exhausted for
the appointment and the second list would be used only after that.
5. Post graduate doctors who are interested to serve as junior residents will be allowed to
join as junior residents.
Other conditions and requirements:-
1. The candidates who are already in govt. service should submit an NOC from the
employer.
2. The services of JR will be governed by residency schemes of Govt. of India.
3. Candidates are required to bring all original certificates and testimonials along with two
passport size photographs on the date of interview.
4. Appointment shall be subject to medical fitness and verification of certificates.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
Fee Payable (Non refundable) for JR post:- Rs. 500/- for general candidates in the form of
Demand Draft/Pay order, in the favour of Medical Superintendent, Dr. Hedgewar Arogya
Sansthan, payable at Delhi.
Submission of application:- Interested candidates may report for registration at 09.30AM till
11:30AM in Establishment Branch with application form along with Demand Draft,
photocopies of qualifying certificates, date of birth proof, Photo ID card and address proof. Only
those candidates whose registration is completed by 11:30 AM shall be eligible for appearing
before interview board. The interviews will be held thereafter.
All original certificates must be brought for verification.
